BusWatch is a Wear OS app that shows live public-transport (bus) arrival times for stops near you in Israel. This policy explains what the app does with data. In short: BusWatch does not collect, store, or share any personal information, and has no accounts, ads, or analytics.
BusWatch requests the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission to find
the bus stops nearest to you. Your location is used only on your
device to compute the closest stops from a bundled list of stops. Your
location is never transmitted to the developer, never stored, and never
shared with anyone.
To show live arrival times, the app sends the public stop code
(a public bus-stop number, e.g. 12631) — not your location —
to the third-party service curlbus.app, which
returns real-time arrivals from Israel Ministry of Transport open data. The app
also periodically downloads the public list of bus stops from the
Hasadna open-bus API.
No personal or device identifiers are sent in these requests.
None. BusWatch has no user accounts, collects no personal data, uses no advertising, and includes no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
The app is a general-purpose transit utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
