This policy covers the Wear OS app Zmanim (com.zmanim.watch) and the
companion watch face Zmanim Face (com.zmanim.watch.wff), together "the apps".
The apps work entirely on your watch. They do not collect, store on any server, transmit, or share any personal data. They make no network connections and contain no analytics, advertising, or trackers.
The apps request access to your device's location for a single purpose: to calculate the day's halachic times (zmanim) — such as dawn, sunrise, midday, sunset, and nightfall — and the Hebrew date, which depend on your geographic coordinates. This calculation happens entirely on the device using an offline astronomical library. Your location is used only for this computation and is cached locally on the device so the watch face and app stay consistent; it is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with anyone. If location permission is denied, the apps fall back to a default location (Jerusalem).
None. The apps collect no personal or device information, create no accounts, and send nothing off the device. There are no third-party SDKs that collect data.
The apps contain no objectionable content and are suitable for all ages.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
